Tropecei nesta letra e neste vídeo noutro blog, e senti-me obrigada a compiar o seu post.

"meat is murder, é o segundo álbum de estúdio dos the smiths, um nome incontornável do rock alternativo dos anos 80. foi editado em fevereiro de 1985 e foi o único álbum da banda a chegar ao número 1 do top britânico. a revista rolling stone, elegeu-o como um dos melhores 500 álbuns de sempre, na história da música. está também incluído no livro "os 1001 álbuns que tem de ouvir antes de morrer". este álbum partilha o nome com a última música do mesmo, escrita por morrisey e o guitarrista johnny marr, ambos vegetarianos. não posso acabar este post sem deixar aqui a letra e o vídeo que acompanha meat is murder.
